About FridgeChef

FridgeChef started with a familiar scene: a fridge full of food and the feeling that there is "nothing to eat". A chicken breast, two eggs, half an onion and some rice is not nothing — it is dinner, if someone helps you see it.

So FridgeChef works backwards from most recipe sites. Instead of picking a recipe and shopping for it, you start with what you already have and get recipes built around it. That means less food wasted, fewer emergency shopping trips, and weeknight cooking that starts from the fridge door instead of a blank search box.

The generator is free, needs no account, and works on any device. Start on the homepage, or jump in from an ingredient you need to use up — chicken, eggs, potatoes, rice and more.
